Ferrara and the Delta by Bicycle

Day 1: Arrive inFerrara, the Italian capital of cycling. After checking in and picking up your technical kit, enjoy a relaxing evening in the streets of thehistoric center, where the medieval atmosphere and Renaissance palaces will welcome you.

Day 2: You will start by exploring thealleys and monumental neighborhoods of the city, and then ride into the open countryside. The route will take you to discover ancient necropolis and the Delizie Estensi, the elegant hunting and leisure residences of the d’Este family scattered throughout the territory.

Day 3: A stage dedicated tovillageswith unusual features and toTresigallo, “the metaphysical city.” You will cross the plain toPomposa Abbey, a thousand-year-old jewel of sacred architecture, famous for its musical history and surrounded by local gastronomic excellence.

Day 4: From the fragrant pine forests you will pedal toward the sea, skirting theComacchio Valleys. This is the most evocative stage: you will pedal along the water’s edge among lagoons populated by colonies of pink flamingos, finally arriving in Comacchio, the picturesque town built on canals.

Day 5: Last breakfast among the bridges of Comacchio before returning to Ferrara and end of services.

Quotations for small groups of between 6 and 8 participants are made on any request, starting from €723 per person (including scheduled bus tickets) or €797 (including return by minivan)
